couple of hours to kill before work today, and somehow found myself in school kids records for the first time in about three years. that place got fucking tiny. made me feel pretty guilty that all i bought was blood orange “coastal grooves” ONLY because i couldn’t find a decent torrent for it. also feeling guilty about the schoolboy q album i downloaded three nights ago, along with the other 100+ albums i’ve downloaded within the past couple of years. but it’s really a combination of guilt and, like, pride. it’s awesome to get music for free and why shouldn’t we?  but record stores are also a beautiful thing, and just being in one reminded me of all things good from my teen years (namely having all the time in the world to walk around streets aimlessly, and spending my parents money on shit like cd’s of artists i thought MADE ME WHO I WAS).  yeah, so i had a bit of a moment in there. go buy some cd / record and have yours too.
